This spot was really convenient for us and made getting downtown simple. We didn’t have to overthink anything, which was great. that kind of convenience makes a huge difference. Wait, seriously, it was almost too easy...

We stopped by the cafe while we were at the aquarium and grabbed burgers, fries, and a few drinks. Good overall. Nothing fancy, just the kind of food that works when everyone’s hungry.

The kids were happy with the fries, and my iced tea was cold and fresh. Always a plus. Prices felt about what you’d expect for a place like this, maybe a bit on the high side.

I’d give it 4 stars mostly because the line was moving slowly and some of the tables needed a wipe-down. Not a huge deal, though. Still a decent little food break in the middle of walking around.

My kids were full of questions the whole day after we visited, which was fun to see. The staff did a great job explaining all the sea life stuff in a way that actually made sense for them. It did feel a little busy at times, but that’s not a huge deal because everyone there was really helpful and kept things engaging...

I did enjoy the stingray feeding, it was cool getting that close to them, and they’re weirder and cuter than I expected. I will say it felt a bit rushed, like we were just getting into it and then it was already over. Maybe I was expecting more time to actually take it in? Still fun though, especially if you’ve never done anything like it before.

The kids did have fun, and I’m glad they left with happy little memories from the day. I just wish the whole thing hadn’t felt so rushed. I kept thinking this was one of those birthdays we’d look back on for years, so I wanted to soak it in a bit more, but it moved along quickly. Overall, it was okay.

It was okay overall, but I was expecting way better chances for photos!! The lighting was kind of weird in a bunch of areas, and a lot of my pics came out blurry or just not that great??? The kids still had fun, so that was nice, but if you're going mainly for cute pictures... it was a little disappointing.

I went to the special event expecting it to be fun, but it felt disorganized. It was way too crowded, and at one point I was just standing near the snack table holding a half-melted drink while nobody seemed to know where the line was supposed to start. The staff were nice enough, but they looked confused and kept giving different answers. Not a terrible experience, just kind of frustrating and more hectic than I expected

I was surprised by how much there was to see. They had all kinds of fish, rays, turtles, jellyfish, and a few little creatures I couldn’t even put a name to. If our visit is anything to go by, this is the kind of place where you end up noticing something new in almost every tank.
My kids kept moving from one exhibit to the next without losing interest, which usually says a lot. There was a good mix of animals they recognized and stranger ones that made them stop and ask questions, so it ended up being a really fun visit.

The staff were really nice when we went, and it made the whole visit feel a lot better. A couple of them checked in to see if we needed anything, and they were super patient with the kids asking a million questions.
I’m giving it 4 stars just because it got a bit crowded in a few areas, but the workers were still friendly and kept things chill

We went to the Shreveport Aquarium on a Saturday, and I was ready for a some long line, but it moved way faster than I expected. We got inside quickly and never really felt like we were just standing around wasting time.
Once we were in, everything felt easy too. There wasn’t a big crowd packed into one spot, so the kids could see all exhibits without waiting forever. It was a nice little visit, and having such a short wait made the whole thing even better.

I stopped by the fish looked healthy and active. Most of the tanks were clean too, which was nice to see. Then out of nowhere I got weirdly impressed by how calm everything felt. Overall, it seemed like the animals were being looked after properly

I was just trying to check the hours and ticket info on shreveportaquarium.com, but the site gave me a harder time than I expected.

Some of the text felt small, and a few menus/buttons were awkward to use with just the keyboard. i also kept running into spots where I wasn’t totally sure what was actually clickable.

I still really like the aquarium, so this isn’t about that. The Website just needs some accessibility work, because I ended up having to ask someone else to help me finish what I was trying to do.

I was hoping to find a few cute things to take home, but there just wasn’t much worth buying. The selection felt disappointing.

The kids had fun getting to touch the rays, which was definitely the highlight for us. That said, the area felt crowded, and the staff seemed a bit rushed trying to keep up with everyone. It wasn’t a bad experience, but the crowding felt avoidable and made it less relaxed than it could’ve been...

We took the family here and just had a really nice time. The kids were super into the touch tanks, and it was easy to walk around at our own pace without feeling rushed. The staff was really nice too, which made the visit even better

I took my kids to the Shreveport Aquarium parking was way easier than I thought it would be. We found a spot really close by and barely had to walk. It made the whole visit start off feeling "stress free," which I definitely appreciated

I went to the aquarium because my family always used to take me to places like this when I was a kid, so I was probably a little extra excited. It was decent overall, but the exhibits felt kind of small compared to what I had in mind. A few of the tanks were really clean and to look at, while others felt a bit plain. It’s not a bad place to spend an hour or so, but I wouldn’t say it was super impressive...

I did the behind-the-scenes tour, it was just okay for me. The staff was really nice and friendly, which I appreciated, but the whole thing felt a bit rushed. I was hoping for more extra details or access that would make it feel worth the added cost, but it didn’t really deliver on that for me.

I got turned around a few times while I was inside because the signs weren’t super clear. Maybe it was just me, but I’m curious if anyone else had the same issue?
